Installation Procedure

  1. Install the blower motor and fan (1) to the vehicle. Secure with the three bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts (2) to 10 N.m (89 lb in)

  2. Install the blower motor cooling tube.
  3. Connect the blower motor electrical connector.
  4. Swing the PCM (2) with bracket (3) up in position under the IP.

  6. Secure the PCM to the IP with the two fasteners.

    Tighten:  Tighten the two fasteners to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  8. Install the IP compartment door into the IP.

  10. Swing the close out panel (1) up under the PCM.

    Secure the close out panel (1) to the PCM with the two retainers.
