Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the upper instrument panel (IP) assembly. Refer to Trim Pad Replacement - Instrument Panel (I/P) Upper in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Fig 1: Upper IP, Air Deflector, Air Outlet Duct And Screws

  3. Remove the four screws (1) from the upper air distribution duct (2).
  4. Remove the upper air distribution duct (2) duct from the upper IP panel (5).

  6. Remove the four push clips (1) from the lower air distribution duct (2).
  7. Separate the lower air distribution duct from the defroster duct.
  8. Remove the lower air distribution duct from the HVAC module assembly.
