Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
    IMPORTANT:
    • Use new O-rings lubricated with 525 viscosity mineral oil.
    • Hold the A/C refrigerant pressure switch mount with an open end wrench to avoid bending the liquid line.
  1. Install the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the A/C refrigerant pressure switch (2) to 10 N.m (7.0 lb ft).

  2. Connect the A/C refrigerant pressure switch electrical connector (1).
  3. Evacuate and recharge the refrigerant system. Refer to Refrigerant Recovery and Recharging .
  4. Operate the A/C system and check for leaks. Refer to Leak Testing .
