Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the clutch release bearing using a thin coat of wheel bearing grease of GM P/N 1051344 (Canadian P/N 9930337) or the equivalent.
  2. Install the clutch release bearing to the clutch release fork.
  3. Install the clutch release bearing and the clutch release fork assembly onto the transaxle assembly.
  4. Install the manual transaxle from the vehicle. Refer to Transaxle Replacement in Manual Transmission -MK5 or Transaxle Replacement in Manual Transmission - MTN.
