Clutch Pedal Free Travel Adjustment

  1. Inspect the clutch pedal height (4). If the clutch pedal height is not within 138.4-148.4 mm (5.45-5.84 in), adjust the clutch pedal. Use the following procedure:
    1. Loosen the locknut.
    2. Turn the stopper bolt until the clutch pedal height is within 131.6-141.6 mm (5.18-5.57 in).
    3. Tighten the locknut.

      Tighten:  Tighten the locknut to 13 N.m (115 lb in).

  2. Inspect the clutch pedal free play (3). If the clutch pedal free play is not within 5.0-15.0 mm (0.197-0.591 in), adjust the clutch pedal free play. Use the following procedure:
    1. Depress the clutch pedal until resistance is felt.
    2. Loosen the locknut.
    3. Turn the pushrod until the free play is within 5.0-15.0 mm (0.197-0.591 in).
    4. Tighten the locknut.
