Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the reservoir hose from the radiator.
  2. Disconnect the fan motor electrical connector.

  4. If equipped with an air pump:
    1. Disconnect the 2 hoses from the air pump outlet pipe (1).
    2. Remove the 2 bolts from the air pump outlet pipe (2).
  5. Disconnect the 2 fan motor electrical harness clamps from the fan shroud.
  6. Remove the 2 fan shroud bolts.
  7. Remove the fan shroud and motor assembly.
  8. Remove the fan retaining nut.
  9. Remove the 2 radiator fan mount bolts.
  10. Remove the radiator fan motor.
