Installation Procedure

  1. Position the radiator fan and the radiator fan motor to the shroud.
  2. Install one radiator fan nut.

    Tighten:  Tighten the radiator fan nut to 6.2 N.m (55 lb in).

  3. Install the 2 radiator fan mount bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the radiator fan bolts to 3.8 N.m (34 lb in).

  4. Position the radiator fan and shroud assembly into the vehicle; then install the 2 fan shroud bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the radiator fan shroud bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).

  5. Connect the 2 fan motor electrical harness clamps to the fan shroud.
  6. Connect the fan motor electrical connector.

  8. If equipped with an air pump:
    1. Install the 2 bolts to the air pump outlet pipe (2).

      Tighten:  Tighten the air pump outlet pipe bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

    2. Connect the 2 hoses to the air pump outlet pipe (1).
  9. Connect the reservoir hose to the radiator.
