Installation Procedure

NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Position the radiator fan and the radiator fan motor to the shroud.
Install one radiator fan nut.
Tighten: Tighten the radiator fan nut to 6.2 N.m (55 lb in).
Install the 2 radiator fan mount bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the radiator fan bolts to 3.8 N.m (34 lb in).
Position the radiator fan and shroud assembly into the vehicle; then install the 2 fan shroud bolts.
Tighten: Tighten the radiator fan shroud bolts to 6 N.m (53 lb in).
Connect the 2 fan motor electrical harness clamps to the fan shroud.
Connect the fan motor electrical connector.

If equipped with an air pump:
1. Install the 2 bolts to the air pump outlet pipe (2).
  Tighten: Tighten the air pump outlet pipe bolts to 7 N.m (62 lb in).
2. Connect the 2 hoses to the air pump outlet pipe (1).
Connect the reservoir hose to the radiator.
