Installation Procedure

  1. If you are replacing the insulators (6,13), copy the match marks from the old components to the new components.
  2. Align the match marks and install the insulators to the shaft.
  3. Install the brackets to the insulators.
  4. Install the 4 bolts (3,4,8,9) to the brackets.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 18 N.m (13.3 lb ft).

  5. Install the rear drive module. Refer to Crossmember Replacement (AWD) .
