Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
- Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
- Remove the 2 bolts (2,3) in order to separate the park brake cable (1) from the lower control arm.
- Remove the nut (4) and the stabilizer shaft link stud from the lower control arm.
- Support the lower control arm (15) with a jack.
- Use paint in order to place match marks on the 2 cams (5,6) and on the lower control arm.
- Remove the nut (8) and the bolt (7).
- Remove the nut (4) and the cam (5).
- Remove the cam bolt (6).
- Remove the nut and the bolt in order to separate the shock absorber from the lower control arm.
- Remove the nut (1) and the bolt (3).
- Remove the 3 bolts (10,11,12) and the lower control arm from the vehicle.
