Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2004 Pontiac Vibe. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Place the stabilizer shaft on the crossmember.
  2. Install the 2 stabilizer shaft insulators to the stabilizer shaft.
  3. Install the 2 clamps to the insulators.
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the 4 bolts to the clamps.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 19 N.m (14.0 lb ft).

  7. Install the 2 stabilizer shaft links and the 2 nuts (2) to the stabilizer shaft.

    Tighten:  Tighten the nuts to 74 N.m (54.6 lb ft).

  8. Install the stabilizer shaft and the crossmember to the vehicle. Refer to Crossmember Replacement - Front Suspension (FWD)  or Crossmember Replacement - Front Suspension (AWD) .
