Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the front tire and wheel assembly from the vehicle. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Fig 1: Strut Bracket, Stabilizer Shaft Links And 6 mm Wrench (AWD)

  4. Use a 6 mm wrench in order to hold the stabilizer shaft link upper stud. Remove the nut from the stud in order to separate the link (3) from the strut bracket.
  5. Use a 6 mm wrench in order to hold the stabilizer shaft link lower stud. Remove the nut from the stud in order to separate the link from the stabilizer shaft.
