Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the outer tie rod. Refer to Rack and Pinion Outer Tie Rod End Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Boot Clamp

  3. Remove the boot clamp (2).

  5. Remove the boot clamp (2).
  6. Remove the boot from the inner tie rod.
