Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Installing Hoses without Twists or Bends Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the reservoir outlet hose (3) to the power steering fluid reservoir.
  2. Install the hose clamp (2) in order to retain the hose to the reservoir.
  3. Install the reservoir outlet hose to the power steering pump.
  4. Install the hose clamp (4) in order to retain the hose to the pump.
  5. NOTE: Refer to Using Proper Power Steering Fluid Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  6. Fill the power steering fluid reservoir. Refer to Checking and Adding Power Steering Fluid .
  7. NOTE: Refer to Air in the Power Steering System Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  8. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Bleeding the Power Steering System .
