Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the right front engine splash shield. Refer to Splash Shield Replacement - Engine - Right in Body Front End.
  4. Fig 1: Power Steering Pump Components

  5. Disconnect the power steering pressure (PSP) switch connector (3).
  6. Remove the PSP switch from the pump.
