Removal Procedure

- Place a drain pan under the vehicle in order to catch any power steering fluid.
- Remove the bolt (2) from the power steering gear outlet hose (3).
- Loosen the clamp that retains the power steering cooling pipe to the gear outlet hose.
- Remove the gear outlet hose from the cooling pipe.
- Remove the pipe fitting (4) and the gear outlet hose from the steering gear (5).
