Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the wheel cylinder. Refer to Wheel Cylinder Replacement .
  2. Remove the bolt and the park brake cable from the backing plate.
  3. Remove the rear wheel bearing and hub assembly. Refer to Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear (FWD) or Wheel Bearing/Hub Replacement - Rear (AWD) in Rear Suspension.

  5. Remove the backing plate (5).
