Removal Procedure

CAUTION: Refer to Brake Fluid Irritant Caution in Cautions and Notices.

NOTE: Refer to Brake Fluid Effects on Paint and Electrical Components Notice in Cautions and Notices.

Clean the outside of the reservoir and the reservoir cap (4).
Remove the reservoir cap.
Remove the reservoir diaphragm.
Remove the brake fluid with a syringe.

Clean the proportioning valve (7) and the brake pipes.
Remove the 5 brake pipes from the proportioning valve.
Remove the 2 bolts (5,6).
Remove the proportioning valve.
