Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the proportioning valve (7) and the 2 bolts (5,6) to the cowl.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 5.4 N.m (47.79 lb in)

  2. Install the brake pipes to the proportioning valve.
  3. Tighten the flare nuts (1,2,3,4,8)

    Tighten:  Tighten the flare nuts to 15.2 N.m (11.2 lb ft).

  4. Bleed the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
