Removal Procedure

- Loosen the air filter hose clamp and remove the air filter hose from the throttle body.
- Unhook the air filter housing hooks and remove the top portion of the housing with the hose.
- Remove the master cylinder reservoir. Refer to Master Cylinder Reservoir Replacement .
- Remove the brake pipe (2) from the front of the master cylinder.
- Remove the brake pipe from the right side of the master cylinder.
- Remove the 2 brake pipes (7,8) from the 2-way fitting (6).
- Remove the following components from the vacuum booster:
- The 2 nuts (9)
- The check valve bracket (1)
- The 2-way fitting
- The master cylinder
