Hydraulic Brake System Flushing

IMPORTANT:
Flush the hydraulic brake system under the following conditions:
- The DOT rating of the brake fluid is incorrect.
- The brake fluid contains water or mineral oil.
- The rubber brake components are swollen, indicating contamination of the brake fluid.
- Replace all damaged rubber brake components.
- Use 0.94 liter (1 quart) of Delco Supreme 11® Brake Fluid, GM P/N 12377967, or equivalent DOT 3 brake fluid, in order to flush the hydraulic brake system.
- Use the Manual Bleeding Procedure in order to flush the hydraulic brake system. Refer to Hydraulic Brake System Bleeding .
