Installation Procedure

  1. Install the park brake switch (5) to the park brake lever.
  2. Install the screw (12) to the park brake switch.
  3. Connect the park brake switch electrical connector (10).
  4. Inspect the park brake lever travel. Adjust the park brake lever travel if necessary. Refer to Park Brake Adjustment (Drum Brakes)  or Park Brake Adjustment (Disc Brakes) .
  5. Install the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.
