Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear floor console. Refer to Console Replacement - Rear Floor in Instrument Panel, Gages, and Console.

  2. Disconnect the park brake switch electrical connector (10).
  3. Remove the upper park brake front cable nut (2).
  4. Remove the lower park brake front cable nut (3).
  5. Remove the 2 bolts (4,11).
  6. Remove the lever (1).
  7. Unfasten the tab in order to remove the park brake front cable (9) from the lever.
  8. Remove the screw (12) from the park brake switch.
  9. Remove the park brake switch (5).
