Park Brake Shoe Inspection

- Remove the park brake shoes. Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement .
- Inspect the park brake shoes for the following conditions:
- Oil or fluid contamination
- Cracks
- Uneven wear
- Measure the thickness of the park brake shoe lining.
Specification: The minimum park brake shoe lining thickness is 1.0 mm (0.039 in).
- Inspect the park brake shoe and the rear brake rotor for proper contact.
- Replace the park brake shoes if necessary. Refer to Park Brake Shoe Replacement .
