Installation Procedure

  1. Install the luggage carrier side rail (6) to the roof, push down until the 3 plastic retainers (9) engage.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 4 bolts (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the luggage carrier side rail mounting bolts to 16 N.m (11 lb ft).

  3. Install the luggage carrier side rail caps (1) to the luggage carrier side rail (6), make sure the plastic retainers (7) are fully engaged.
  4. Install the luggage carrier crossrails (1), if removed. Refer to Luggage Carrier Cross Rail Replacement .
  5. Repeat the procedure to install the second luggage carrier side rail, if removed.
