Conditions for Setting the DTC

The PCM compares the output shaft speed with the input/turbine speed sensor. When the output shaft speed is higher than the calculated value and the input shaft speed is 300 RPM or less while the vehicle is running and in the Drive (D) position, the PCM will determine that there is a malfunction of the input/turbine speed sensor.
