Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the engine cover.
  2. Remove the ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coil(s) Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the 2 Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) hoses from the cylinder head cover.
  5. Remove the 2 nuts and 1 bolt from the ventilation pipe.
  6. Remove the ventilation pipe and gasket.
  7. Remove the 9 bolts, wire harness protector, cylinder head cover and gasket.
  8. Remove the O-ring from the cylinder head cover.
