Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the drive belt tensioner.

    Tighten: 

    • Tighten the lower tensioner bolt (6) to 69 N.m (51 lb ft).
    • Tighten the upper tensioner nut to 29 N.m (21 lb ft).

  2. Lower the engine assembly enough to position the right side engine mount in place.
  3. Install the right side engine mount. Refer to Engine Mount Replacement .
  4. Remove the jack.
  5. Install the accessory drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement .
  6. Connect the negative battery cable.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).
