Oil Pump Installation

    IMPORTANT: Engage the spline teeth of the oil pump drive rotor with the large teeth of the crankshaft.
  1. Install the oil pump. Use a new oil pump gasket.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Use the 5 oil pump bolts in order to secure the oil pump.

    Tighten:  Tighten the oil pump bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).
