Removal & Installation (Passenger-side)

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove instrument panel upper trim pad. See INSTRUMENT PANEL UPPER TRIM PAD . Remove passenger-side air bag module mounting bolts. See Fig 1. Remove air bag module.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten passenger-side air bag module bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
