Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the secondary air injection (AIR) pressure sensor. Refer to Secondary AIR Injection Pressure Sensor Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the air inlet hose (2) from the AIR shut-off valve (3).
  3. Disconnect the air outlet hose (4) from the AIR shut-off valve.
  4. Remove the 2 fasteners (1) from the AIR shut-off valve bracket.
  5. Remove the AIR shut-off valve and bracket from the engine.

  7. Remove the 2 bolts securing the AIR shut-off valve to the bracket and pipe assembly.
  8. Remove the AIR shut-off valve.
