Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the windshield wiper motor. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement .
  2. Fig 1: Wiper Transmission, Wiper Motor And Crank Arm Pivot

  3. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the inner rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (2).
  4. Remove the wiper transmission (1) from the wiper motor (3).

  6. Using a flat bladed tool, disengage the meshing of the outer rod (1) from the crank arm pivot (3).

  8. Remove the 2 torx bolts (2).
