Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Rear Bumper  .
  2. Remove the rear bumper fascia energy absorber. Refer to Energy Absorber Replacement - Rear  .
  3. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    • The 4 nuts (2)
    • The rear bumper impact bar (1)
    • The 4 push-in retainers (3) and the 2 rear bumper stays (4) from the impact bar (1), if necessary
