Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle in General Information.
  2. Fig 1: Body Panel

  3. Remove fender flare. Refer to Flare Replacement - Front Fender in Body Front End.
  4. Remove the bolts and plastic retainers from wheel house panel.
  5. Remove the rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Production Molding)Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Accessory Molding) in Exterior Trim.
  6. Disengage the plastic retainers from the wheel house panel.
  7. Remove the wheel house panel (1) from the fender.
