Removal Procedure

- Raise and support the hood.
- Remove the right fender flare. Refer to Flare Replacement - Front Fender .
- Remove the right wheelhouse panel (1). Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement .
- Remove the front fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper in Bumpers.
- Remove the right rocker molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Production Molding)Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Accessory Molding) .
- Remove the right head lamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
- Remove hood assist rod. Refer to Hood Hold-Open Rod Replacement .
- Remove right rear inner fender splash guard.
- Remove the right front fender (1) to rocker panel bolt.
- Remove the 2 right front fender to door jamb (3) bolts.
- Remove the top 2 right front fender bolts (1).
- Remove the 1 bolt (2) from the front of the right front fender.
- Remove the right front fender (1) from the vehicle.
NOTE:
When removing body panels, apply tape to corners of panel and adjacent surfaces to help prevent paint damage.
