Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the front fender (1) to the vehicle. Secure the fender with the 1 bolt (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  2. Fig 2: Top Front Fender Bolts

  3. Install the top 2 front fender (1) bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the top front fender bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  5. Install the 2 door jamb (3) to front fender bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the door jamb to front fender bolts to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  7. Install the front fender (1) to rocker panel bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front fender to rocker panel bolt to 20 N.m (15 lb ft).

  8. Install left fender rear inner splash guard.
  9. Install the left headlamp assembly. Refer to Headlamp Assembly or Headlamp Bulb Replacement in Lighting Systems.
  10. Install the front bumper fascia. Refer to Fascia Replacement - Front Bumper in Bumpers.
  11. Install the left rocker panel molding. Refer to Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Production Molding)Molding Replacement - Rocker Panel (Accessory Molding) .
  12. Install the left wheel house panel. Refer to Wheelhouse Panel Replacement  .
  13. Install the left fender flare. Refer to Flare Replacement - Front Fender .
  14. Close hood panel.
