Removal & Installation

Before proceeding, see AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable air bag system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
Remove applicable front door trim panel. Peel rear half of water deflector away from door. Remove screws securing SIS to door. Remove SIS.
To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten SIS screws to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Activate air bag system.
