Activating System

  1. Ensure ignition is off and key is removed. Connect passenger-side air bag module 4-pin connector. Install Connector Position Assurance (CPA) clip. Close glove box door.
  2. Connect driver-side air bag module connector. Install CPA clip. Install driver-side knee bolster. Install SIR fuse underhood fuse block. Check SIR system for proper operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
