Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front floor console trim plate. Refer to Trim Plate Replacement - Front Floor Console in Instrument Panel, Gages and Console.
  2. Remove the cigar lighter rear retainer (1) from the cigar element housing (2).
  3. Remove the cigar element (3).
  4. Remove the cigar element housing (2) from the front floor console trim plate by turning counterclockwise 90 degrees and pushing on the back of the element housing (2).
