Installation Procedure

  1. With an assistant, install the lift gate window (2) to the lift gate hinges (8).
  2. Install the spacers (1) and the 4 nuts (3) to the rear window (2).
  3. Install the rear window packing (4) and the retainers (5) to the rear window (2).
  4. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the rear window packing (6) and the rear window strut bolts (1) to the rear window retainers (5).

    Tighten:  Tighten the rear window strut bolts to 6.0 N.m (53 lb in).

  6. Install the rear lift gate window struts. Refer to Strut Replacement - Liftgate Window  .

  8. Install the rear window upper outer panel (4) to the rear window (3).
  9. Connect the rear washer hose. Refer to Hose Replacement - Rear Window - Washer Pump to Endgate .
  10. Install the 4 nuts (1) to the rear window hinges (5).
  11. Install the 4 bolts (2) to the rear window (3).
  12. Install the rear wiper motor assembly. Refer to Wiper Motor Replacement - Liftgate .
  13. Install the rear wiper arm. Refer to Wiper Arm Replacement - Rear .
  14. Install the high mount stoplamp cover. Refer to High Mounted Stop Lamp Replacement .
  15. Close the lift gate window (3).
