Removal Procedure

  1. Open the liftgate.
  2. Remove the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  3. Remove the lift gate handle (1). Refer to Handle Replacement - Liftgate  .
  4. Remove the lift gate lock cylinder (2). Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Liftgate  .
  5. Remove the lift gate applique nut (4).
  6. Remove the lift gate applique (3).
