Installation Procedure

  1. Install the lift gate applique (3) to the lift gate.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the lift gate applique nut (4).

    Tighten:  Tighten the lift gate applique nut to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Install the lift gate lock cylinder (2). Refer to Lock Cylinder Replacement - Liftgate  .
  4. Install the lift gate handle (1). Refer to Handle Replacement - Liftgate  .
  5. Install the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  6. Close lift gate.
