Removal Procedure

  1. Open the lift gate.
  2. Remove the lift gate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  3. Disconnect the window latch electrical connector (2) from the lift gate harness (1).
  4. Remove the window latch electrical connector retainer (3) from the lift gate (4).
  5. Close the lift gate.

  7. Open the lift gate window.
  8. Remove the bolts (3) from the rear lift gate window connector (4).
  9. Remove the rear lift gate window connector (4) away from the lift gate (5).
  10. Remove the bolts (2) from the lift gate window latch (1).
  11. Pull lift gate window latch (1) away from lift gate (5) and disconnect the rod from the latch.
