Installation Procedure

  1. Install the liftgate handle (2) to the liftgate applique studs (3).
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the 2 nuts (1) to the liftgate handle (2).

    Tighten:  Tighten the liftgate handle nuts to 4.0 N.m (35 lb in).

  3. Connect the cable to liftgate handle.
  4. Install liftgate trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Liftgate  .
  5. Close the liftgate.
