Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  1. Install the front seat assembly to the vehicle. Secure the seat with the 4 bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the front seat assembly bolts to 47 N.m (35 lb ft).

  2. Install the seat bolt finish covers.

  3. Connect the side impact inflatable restraint module electrical connector (1), if equipped.
  4. Enable the SIR system, if disabled. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 and to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
