Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the headrest, if necessary. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Rear Seat .
  2. Fold the rear seat back cushion to the down position.
  3. Remove the 2 plastic hinge covers (1) from the back seat back cushion cover.
  4. Remove the rear seat back trim panel. Refer to Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back (Left)  or Trim Panel Replacement - Rear Seat Back (Right) .
  5. Remove the center rear seat belt retractor, if necessary. Refer to Seat Belt Retractor Replacement - Center Rear .
  6. Remove the hinge bolts (2) from the rear seat back cushion (3).
  7. Remove the following components from the vehicle:
    • The 2 seat back pivot support bolts
    • The rear seat back cushion (3)
