Installation Procedure

  1. Install the passenger seat inflatable restraint, if removed. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - RH in SIR.
  2. Install the seat back trim panel (2), if removed. Refer to Seat Back Trim Replacement - Front .
  3. Install the seat back recliners (5) to the seat back assembly (1). Refer to Seat Back Recliner Replacement - Front .
  4. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster (16).
    5. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  5. Install the bolts (15) to the seat back assembly (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts (15) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  6. Install the seat adjuster track covers (14). Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Outboard)  or Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Inboard) .
  7. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat .
  8. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
