Installation Procedure

  1. Install the driver seat inflatable restraint, if removed. Refer to Inflatable Restraint Side Impact Module Replacement - LH in SIR.
  2. Install the seat back assembly (1) to the seat adjuster (10).
    3. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  3. Install the bolts (3) to the seat back assembly (1).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts (3) to 43 N.m (32 lb ft).

  4. Install the seat adjuster track covers (7). Refer to Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Outboard)  or Seat Adjuster Track Cover Replacement - Front (Inboard) .
  5. Install the front seat head restraint. Refer to Head Restraint Replacement - Front Seat .
  6. Install the front seat assembly. Refer to Seat Replacement - Front Bucket .
