Removal Procedure

  1. Disable driver seat SIR, if removing driver seat outer track cover. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 7 in SIR.
  2. Disable passenger seat SIR, if removing passenger seat outer track cover. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling Zone 9 in SIR.
  3. Remove the recliner handle (2) from the front seat outboard adjuster by disengaging the retaining tab (1).

  4. Fig 2: Outer Track Cover, Tabs And Screws

  5. Remove the 2 screws (2) from the outer track cover (3).
  6. Disengage the tabs (1) from the outer track cover (3).
  7. Remove the outer track cover (3).
