Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the lift gate sill trim panel. Refer to Door Sill Plate Replacement - Liftgate  .
  2. Remove the rear body side lower garnish molding. Refer to Garnish Molding Replacement - Body Side Lower Rear  .
  3. Remove the rear tool storage compartment tray. Refer to Tool Storage Compartment Replacement  .
  4. Remove the rear storage compartment. Refer to Storage Compartment Replacement - Rear  .
  5. Remove the 4 bolts (3) and the 4 tie down hooks (1) from the trim panel (4).
  6. Disengage the 4 plastic retainers (2) which secure the quarter lower trim panel (4).
  7. Remove the quarter lower trim panel (4) from the vehicle.
