Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List

Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) List

DTC Diagnosis item Condition Action
01-21 ROM Error Abnormal condition of ROM is detected. Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
01-22 RAM Error Abnormal condition of RAM is detected. Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
21-10 Panel Switch Error Error in panel switch input is detected. Error in switch control, or internal communication error with switch control is detected. Inspect all switches in Remote Commander Check test screen in display check mode. Refer to Navigation Diagnostic Self-Test Features .
34-10 Error In Picture Circuit Error in power supply system for picture Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
34-11 Back-light Error (No current) Decline in power output from inverter circuit for back-light. Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
34-12 Back-light Error (Excess current) Excess power output from inverter circuit for back-light. Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
58-10 Gyro Error Error in gyro sensor is detected. (Abnormal value in voltage output from sensor is detected for more than the specified time). Replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
58-11 GPS Receiver Error Operation error of GPS receiver is detected. Test GPS receiver. Refer to No Global Positioning System (GPS) Reception 
58-40 GPS Antenna Error Open condition of GPS antenna is detected. (Open circuit) Inspect antenna wiring and connectors. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems. Replace the GPS antenna assembly if necessary. Refer to Antenna Replacement - Global Positioning System (GPS) 
58-41 Power Supply Error of GPS Antenna Abnormal voltage of GPS antenna cable or short circuit is detected. Inspect navigation antenna assembly. There should be no continuity between the inner and outer wires of the GPS antenna. Replace the antenna assembly if necessary. Refer to Antenna Replacement - Global Positioning System (GPS) .
58-42 Map Disc Error Data cannot be read due to scratches or dirt on the disc surface or insertion of wrong disc. Visually check the disc surface for scratches and dirt and clean it if necessary. Test the system using a known good disc. If the problems still occurs, replace Navigation Radio. Refer to Radio Replacement .
58-43 Vehicle Signal Error Input error of vehicle signal is detected. When no vehicle signal has been input for the specified time. Inspect wiring harness. Refer to Navigation System Schematics  and Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections in Wiring Systems.
